Introducing
Pause... for Perimenopause
Perimenopause is defined by hormonal variability — not stability.
Fluctuating estrogen and progesterone influence sleep, mood, metabolism, recovery, and body composition in ways that can feel unpredictable.
Pause helps you understand what is shifting physiologically — and how to adapt your movement, nutrition, and lifestyle accordingly.
Inside the program, you’ll learn to:
- Regulate your nervous system during hormonal swings
- Stabilize sleep, energy, and mood
- Train in alignment with fluctuating hormones
- Navigate metabolic and body composition changes with clarity
Pause... offers informed guidance and a contained community — helping you move through this transition with steadiness rather than overwhelm.
Education
Three live, interactive evening webinars focused specifically on the physiology of perimenopause.
We explore hormonal variability, nervous system shifts, metabolic changes, and sleep disruption — translating research into practical strategies you can apply immediately.
Each 90-minute session includes structured teaching and dedicated time for questions. Recordings are available for review.
In-person Sessions
Four immersive Saturday gatherings (with a virtual option) integrating guided movement and small-group discussion.
Movement is adapted for hormonal fluctuation — supporting recovery, stress regulation, and strength without overtaxing the nervous system.
Session recordings are available for continued practice.

Meet your teachers
Hey, I'm Dr. Marsha
I’m a naturopathic physician with 17 years of clinical experience, founder of Flow Natural Health Care, creator of the Wild Pursuits Method, and a lifelong athlete.
Over the years, my work has become increasingly focused on supporting active women through perimenopause and menopause — a phase that is often overlooked in conventional care, despite the very real physiological changes taking place.
Perimenopause is marked by hormonal variability, sleep disruption, metabolic shifts, and changes in the nervous system. It’s a normal transition, but that doesn’t mean it’s always an easy one. Fluctuations in estrogen and progesterone can influence nearly every system in the body, yet many women are simply told “it’s normal” without being given the context or tools to navigate it.
The good news is that you do have influence during this phase. With the right understanding and approach, it’s possible to stabilize symptoms, support recovery, and move through this transition with more clarity and confidence.
Inside Pause, Savonn and I bring together physiology and movement to help you understand what’s happening in your body and learn how to support it in a practical, sustainable way.
Hi, I'm Savonn
I’m the co-founder of Sellwood Yoga and bring over 27 years of teaching experience to my yoga and wellness offerings. As a Certified Menopause Coaching Specialist I combine movement, mindfulness, and evidence-based education to support women through various stages of the menopause transition.
Now in my 50s and postmenopausal myself, I’ve personally experienced the changes and challenges of perimenopause and have a deep, ongoing interest in postmenopausal health and vitality. My goal in the Pause and Pause Plus programs is to provide clear, compassionate guidance while offering the tools, knowledge, and practices that help women feel informed, strong, and supported through these transitions.
I believe in an integrated approach to well-being, one that connects physical strength, emotional resilience, and self-awareness. My classes, workshops, programs and retreats blend skillful instruction with grounded inspiration and a non-dogmatic perspective, encouraging each participant to explore what truly supports them.

You are not imagining the changes.
And you are not powerless within them.
There are practical, evidence-informed ways to reduce symptom intensity and improve stability. It begins with understanding your physiology and building supportive foundations around sleep, strength, nutrition, and nervous system regulation.
Here’s what that looks like inside Pause...
-
Coordinated strategies to stabilize sleep, mood, and metabolic shifts
-
Strength and restorative movement tailored to fluctuating hormones
-
Ongoing guidance within a contained, supportive community
